The first match of the 2011 season for the seniors was away to Cilgwyn in the hills around Lampeter. Nine pairs attended, and once again we had a warm welcome from our hosts.

Seniors Team matches.
The next two friendly team matches are both away – against Trefloyne on Thursday May 5th (11.00 tee off) and Haverfordwest on Monday May 16th (12 noon tee off). Team sheets for both matches are up today and any seniors who want to play are assured of a warm welcome and great value – 18 holes of golf, a two-course meal and entry to a raffle – all for just £10!
If you want to play team golf, please help the captain and vice-captain by following this procedure:
- Put your name on the team availability sheet for each match by the stated closing date – usually 12 noon a week before the match date.
- Check to see if you have been selected –this information will be available on the noticeboard, on the seniors section of the club website, by telephone or email to Rhian at the club, or by contacting Reg Powell (01834 860621).
- Tick to confirm you are available at least 3 days before the match date.
- If, having ticked the sheet, you are then unavailable, for any reason, please let Reg Powell know asap so that a reserve can be offered the opportunity to play.Try to arrange to travel with your playing partner, or another team member and be at the match venue at least 30 mins before the first tee off time.
