Club
2008 looks to be a big season for the club. We have a very comprehensive programme that has been drawn up, and with our inclusion into the Dyfed League, we are hoping to drive the club to bigger and better things.

Ladies
Beginners and intermediate classes will continue and an internal summer league will operate from April and run through until finals day end of September, those wishing to participate please check notice board. Ann Thomas and Eirian Davies are involved in the Daily Mail Foursomes and we wish them well.

Seniors
Monday competitions for the Dawn Patrol Shield will commence when summer tees are in play. Senior Open Day: Tuesday 16th September. This will be open to all seniors and it is hoped that a large number from the area will participate.

Juniors
Beginner’s classes will continue for this important section. A junior knockout cup will be in operation throughout the season. We would greatly appreciated any sponsor or sponsors to provide a trophy for such an event.

Handicapping
Amendment have been made to the handicap system to provide club handicaps based on 9 hole competition / general play. Full details are to be found in the Members Area of our website, on the notice board or on www.congu.com

Website
As part of the on going development of our website, we have introduced a Members Area. Members can log in to this section of the site with their username and password. Details such as player handicaps, and essential member only information can be found in this section of the website. If you do not have your username and password, please ask in the club.

Knockout Competitions / Dyfed League / Fantasy League
Lists are now displayed for the singles and pairs club knockout competitions. Please append names at your earliest convenience. Dyfed League: If your handicap is less than 20 and you are interested in playing for the club, please complete the form available at the bar or online. Fantasy League: You still have time before the 1st competition to get your team entered into the club Fantasy League! Visit the website or see notice board for details.

Insurance

Greenstaff
The green-staff should be commended on the upkeep of the golf course in such a condition as to enable golfers the opportunity to play during adverse winter conditions.
